WE Pay
WE Pay is a digital wallet that enables you to control your financial transactions. You can transfer, cash in & out, pay WE bills, utility bills (electricity, water, gas), send donations and other services easily and securely.
How to subscribe
- Visit the nearest WE store with your valid national ID and SIM card registered under your name.
- Fill in the subscription form and sign it.
- Download and install WE Pay app from:
- Open the app and choose Activate Account.
- Fill in your data including (Full Name – National ID No – Active WE Mobile Number), and accept the terms and conditions.
- An SMS will be sent to your mobile phone to activate the App.
- Create a new six-digit PIN number (do not use repeated digits, such as 5555). This Pin will be used in all transactions performed via the App.
- Load the wallet and enjoy WE Pay services.
WE Pay services
- You can deposit & withdraw money through any of WE stores or Fawry Outlets.
- You can deposit and withdraw money through ATMs of our partners (Bank Misr, National Bank of Egypt, Bank of Alexandria, Banque du Caire, United Bank of Egypt, CIB, QNB, Bank Audi, Housing and Development bank, Ahly united bank and Suez Canal bank).
- How to charge your NFC electricity card through WE Pay:
- Log in to your WE Pay account (enter your mobile number and pin).
- Select “Pay Bills” from home screen.
- Select “Electricity Bills” from “Pay Bills” screen.
- Select “Recharge Electricity” from service payment.
- Select your electricity company.
- Press continue.
- You must enable the NFC feature and read the NFC instructions well.
- Put the NFC card behind the mobile, and wait until processing is over.
- Recharge details data will be displayed.
- Confirm the minimum recharge amount (10 LE ) or select “Enter other amount” ,enter the amount to be charged then click continue ( Recharge allowed range is from 10 LE to 3,000 LE )
- You will be asked to enter the pin again for confirmation.
- You will be asked to put the card behind the mobile to be recharged.
- Upon the transaction, an approval receipt message appears.
- NFC Recharge instructions:
- Make sure that your electricity card supports NFC feature. In case it doesn’t, you have to replace the card from your electricity company.
- Make sure that your mobile battery is more than 10%.
- You must not move your electricity smart card unless you hear a beep sound. The application will ask you to release the card.
- Closing WE Pay app while recharging may cause smart card damage.
- You have to put your smart card behind your mobile and not move the card until you hear a beep a sound.
- This service is available for Android users only
General Terms and conditions
- You must have a valid national ID and a WE mobile line registered under your name.
- Maximum number for each national ID is 3 wallets on 3 mobile lines.
- Maximum limit for the wallet balance: 100,000 LE.
- Maximum limit for daily transactions: 30,000 LE.
- Maximum limit for monthly transactions: 100,000 LE.
- In case the line is lost or stolen, you can suspend the service by calling 565 or visiting any of WE stores.
