Project Management Supporting Information Systems (PMO 2019)

Key Responsibilities  

Develop PM supporting Information Systems  

  • Help define PM Process Standards and Policies (-> Process Description, PM Handbook, PM Roles Description including KPI‘s and Competence Description)
  • Define IS Requirements for PM Process automation (Process, Templates, Mgmt and PM View)
  • Implement Standards through a SW Application with IT
  • Build up User and SW Application Support (Documentation, Helpdesk, ...)
  • Support Training of Management, PMs and Others

Support and Monitor Application of the PM supporting Information System

  • Support Managers and PMs in the application of the PM supporting Information System.
  • Manage the resolvement of issues concerning the IS.
  • Be the Interface to IT for related matters.
  • Gather requirements for optimisation and enhancements.
  • Represent PM in the general IT Improvement Expert Team.

Requirements

  • Functional Knowledge: SW-Appl. for Project Management and Controlling & Reporting, PMI Knowledge, English language.
  • Process/Methods: Project Process, IT-Processes e.g. Defining IS-Requirements, IT-Roll-Out Management, Appl. & User Support Processes.
  • Social/Communication: very good communicator, accepted team leader (of virtual teams).
  • Interpersonal: disciplined thinking & acting, stress tolerance, self motivating.
  • Experience: > 10 years in Profession; > 6 years in definition and organizational implementation of IS.
